‘Smarty’ is the word…

Be hip, groovy and upbeat; show your rocking self by following just a few tips n’ secrets to stay on top of the ‘ín’ business:

Develop a sense of style

There is no imported style; the real aura comes from within. So think deep inside your soul, what you want out of your life and
how to be seen by others. But, here be careful and don’t run before others appraise. It’s your life and so does your style.

Check your abilities: Are you bold, meek or shy? Do you look like a stud, rocker, rough and tough, sleek, girly or have typical eastern outlook. Everything has its pluses and looks best if portrayed in the right manner. Here confidence and understanding is the key. There is no money or investment involved, just a dime of thought and how you want to gear-up and create impact. Get out of pretentiousness and fake-ism, reality need guts, so be-it!

Counter Strike

The sequel to first step: you know who you are and what you dreamt of, but well you should be cheesy enough to counter your neighbourhood bullies and competitor at campus. So do check in, the style you are adopting (say, How you are!) has what sort of repercussions and so how to take care the danger it offers.

For instance, your rough and tough outlook will make you face several challenges off and on campus. Teachers and parents would definitely hate you thinking that you would have no interest in serious matters. All you could think of is sports, fighting or gang masti. Well, you should be smart enough to counter all parties attack. Haha, so be ready, you are ‘ín’.

No Plastic face please

And well it would be a big, big blunder if you act and think like you are a charming lass with Eastern supremó style. Oh, please stop comparing yourself with Ashwirya, do you know about Sarris and colours, just buying cheap cosmetics and accessories will not do the job. Try to concentrate on how brainy you are coz it counts; after all its 21st century when women are walking shoulder to shoulder with men in every walk of life. So running behind a stupid fad won’t give you any worth in today’s arena.

Dare me if you can?

So what’s the focus, inner strength, right naa? Concentrate on mind games, well how challenging you could be, how quick you could be, can you take stress, can you manipulate your parents (oh, that’s bad). So if you want to rule (in this world and hereafter) concentrate on You got the power (See, Bruce Almighty). Yes, you gotta empower yourself by making yourself expert in the skills you love most and ofcourse where you are good at. For instance, if you are good in Mathematics, study hard, search on internet on latest techniques, read about the career and well during class discussions impress your teacher and ofcourse, the opposite one!

Be a marketer ;)

Well, what’s bad here if you act like a mini-Shahrukh Khan or Bratt Pitt who spends millions on selling their image (acting skills do come, but later on). You are your own star, so the crux: develop your own sense of style and the reasons for it. (Well, may be if someone later-on take your interview, you should have reasons to satisfy the paparazzi). And the secret of great marketing is an excellent SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and threats) analysis. So, delve in your haves and have-nots!

Manipulate, ah! No experiment

At one training session, I got to know manipulation is a bad thing. Well it’s what we all do at regular intervals. It’s all about experimenting yourself and checking the moods of others (teachers, parents, friends, bullies, what so ever). So do keep on checking the behaviour of others, how your stalwart like act make one fickle, smile, frown or a slap on your face. So get ready for the ‘cons’. Here, my suggestion is stay in low profile or back-stage and play your game, not a bad idea though!

Shoot your style!!

The end result and you are shining like supreme (American) Idol or an Oscar winner. Just shut-up! Do the appraise, symbols, glimmers say it all? The answer is a big No-No. A style is hidden in you and would look best if presented carefully with confidence. Simplicity would enhance the value and touch heart for longer time rather than a highly cluttered brand filled, pretentious outlook. One thing else, please don’t run before brands, it would just make you crazy and you will start looking into your pockets each day. Remember, personality does not crave for luxurious display. The shining and aura comes from inner strength and your brainy classics. And well, what else you think is style? Just do it!!
