Walk into the light; even a few minutes of fame would not matter because that is the point where life begins. Motive to achieve greatest joy and fame must be in everyone’s mind but only few reach those heights which most of us think are inaccessible. What does it take to be a person who is admired
by all? Is it wealth or something other than that? We are bound to ponder upon at least for once.
We dream of so many things and there are countless number of deeds or things we want in our lives but have we ever tried to reach out for them? I think most of us don’t even try and ultimately tell ourselves that they are not meant for us. But what is it that determines what we deserve and what we don’t? We are just being ignorant and some kind of hypocrites not even trying to reach for what we always dreamed of. What do we lack? Is it inspiration or do we really have to think twice what we should really be thinking or deserving? This is the truth we often seem to neglect.
In the due course of achieving great heights we often forget the fact that even the smallest and little deeds of ours could bring us immense satisfaction. There are things we already know too well but because of our ignorance we tend to avoid little things and dream big even in reality.
If we look back into our past, most of us were so happy in our childhood, needless to say that we were young and wild, perhaps the wildest at those times. What were the reasons behind our being happy and satisfied? Those childish desires used to be so fine and often seemed so easy to achieve but as we grow up, certain complications creep in without intelligence. We tend to somehow, complicate our lives with so many of responsibilities we feel obliged to. We seemed to be separated from our desires by the chains of manacle, we are forced to be segregated from what we used to be.
What is the first thing that comes to our mind when we open our eyes in the morning? Do we ever think that we are one step closer to the ultimate truth? I don’t think so. We are pre-occupied with things that we are obliged to do, the gestures that we should fulfill as adults perhaps as grown ups. Then where did we loose our childish nature and when? We don’t know what happened and that is life.
As days pass by we drift further, may be from what is called happiness or perhaps from what we really are. Our footsteps are bound to certain limits. As we grow up, we are exposed to what we call freedom but without our direct consciousness we are bound to so many things. We can no more walk around naked like we used to, we can no longer ask for things that we loved the most perhaps our tastes have changed to something that is called matured tastes. Did we really want to shed our skins and be the one who really are at the moment? I don’t think so. Most of us still cherish those lives when we used to be young, restless and reckless. What it really mattered to us is how we can be happy and ultimately we used to do what we called are the means of satisfaction.
As we grow towards maturity; things seem to change drastically for both the genders. Females have their own problems while men have theirs. When we were young we used to dream of looking like James Dean, mature and appealing, but when we actually get there, we are haunted by the same old fears, the fear of growing old with incomplete dreams that we dreamed of.
They say that time is the healer but then we tend to get conscious when we see little children playing in the park and are forced to think of how fast we grew old. Life is funny at times, it brings so many things to our minds which we never thought of when we were young but at times life seem to have gotten better in so many ways.
It is not my motive to say that we are not happy at the moment, in fact we are happier than ever before but somehow we tend to compare with our younger ages. What I am trying to say here is: no matter how old we are, we can find our happiness but then we have our responsibilities. Life is too short to be cried instead we can compose ourselves to be living a better life.
Every New Year we ask for something nice, or we tend to pray for someone. I do too but then I do things differently. I do not ask anything for myself but I ask for others. Ultimately when we come to realize, we are not happy or satisfied until we see the faces around us happy. Life becomes beautiful if we are able to share our happiness, it will definitely be awesome if we know how to treat others right and eventually we will be learning the lesson of humanity and that’s the origin of happiness.
