poem
At no cost, I will leave
This chair and its power
Never I will surrender
The prestige and its glamour
Forget the people and nation
Of no importance, their misery
The lives and its importance
with me, I have possessions
the institutions and their failures
the cronies and their beliefs
like
seasons they stick
like demons they haunt
I am in possession, of them
And their hearts, clenched
Watch me, as I unfold
The terror and its mechanics!
This chair and its power
Never I will surrender
The prestige and its glamour
Forget the people and nation
Of no importance, their misery
The lives and its importance
with me, I have possessions
the institutions and their failures
the cronies and their beliefs
like
like demons they haunt
I am in possession, of them
And their hearts, clenched
Watch me, as I unfold
The terror and its mechanics!
