Demon

As dark as barcelona nights
As bright as thousand burning suns
This curse I host, stirs up my soul
I fade, unloved, forsaken, fool.

They slither, mock, and laugh at me
these demons, I can't walk away
I feel the curse well up in me
it tugs the life right out of me

It seethes and burns and lusts, and builds
it drips, and rips, and ruptures, gills
my heart, my sinews, guts and blood
it's beating, throbbing, screaming, live

I lose my self, can't hold it back
it rips my human id to shreds
A thundering rumbling primal roar
I'm gone within, it's in control

these breezy, gentle starry nights
It's seething, roaring, acid rage
It's prowling, lusting for a kill
Somewhere inside, I hope and pray.
