I come running to your shining floors
Your pillars of light, Your walls of flesh
The smell of alcohol intoxicates the night
While I sway to the rhythm of wanton amnesia
The floor is the battle-field
Silent cries of the stricken
Permeate the soft ooze of commercialized
music
Warriors strut, displaying cold devious armor
Darts of supermarket love fly
Here walk hideous beauties and weak champions
And laughs resound like mournful drums
Under the incessant beating of desire
Bodies flicker like flames
Issuing from cold shiny floors
And eaten by a vacuous ether that hangs above all
Colored sparks fly, clashing violently
Anointing prophets
Dragging eyes by cruel hooks to altars of profane deities
I crave your shining floors
And your dark corners where I lurk, feeble and destitute:
From my dark corner
Devoid of fatal light
I dare to see outside the prison
At a dazzling sky devoid of imperfections
Before my sight is blinded forever
