I am the living Word of God
He said "Be!" and I was
And then I learnt that the alphabets of my name
were not "W" "O" "R" and "D"
but "Earth" "Air" "Water" and "Fire"
and I was that
Earth floating on Water
Water imprisoned by Air
Air angered by Fire
and Fire held by Earth
I was a snake that bit its tail
And then I knew
That not all Earths felt the same
and not all Airs rose the same
That not all Waters cooled the same
and not all Fires burnt the same
So I was yet more
each alphabet of my name was broken into many
and I was more than a hundred elements combined
I live amongst those who live to take things apart
-- those who do not understand that one plus one
is sometimes more than two
and sometimes nothing at all
