karti haiN hawaa-aiN
ma’dhoor sargoshiaN
waapis lay lo in ko
aur karlo samjhota
ma’hiyyat say apni.

LafzouN ki am’waaj maiN
naa’la-e-dil hay
souz-e-darouN hay
loh-e-mahfooz pay sab’t
saahil say yeh sada
takraatay rahaiN gay.
