It’s not easy to understand the Matrix, especially when you’re integrated with it to such an extent that you depend on it. Without the Matrix you are nothing, and without you the Matrix is nothing. The Matrix feeds on your mind, your intelligence and your emotions. It get’s
href="/tag/energy">energy from your pessimism, feelings of anger, hatred, jealousy, and all the negativities that are a product of man’s dark side. The Matrix gives you a choice though, to be the devils advocate or to play good guy. But whatever your choice might be, you’re still a prisoner of the Matrix, someone who has no control over himself and is actions.Who created the Matrix? It was not one Architect, but we, the human beings made it. We are the creators of our own prison, this giant sanitorium, this invisible net. All our efforts are directed to making the Matrix stronger, to make the solid iron bars of this prison unbreakable. We dream of freedom, of nirvana and coming closer to the ultimate Creator without knowing that we are still inside this net, chained and gagged.
The common man walks down the road in his shalwaar kameez, dhoti bunyaan or whatever that comes within his pockets range. His pockets have been drained, dark circles around his eyes due to sleepless nights, his wife and children starving for the past three days and the roof of his house leaky. The reason... The Matrix. A young doctor belonging to the middle class graduates with a gold medal from medical school, gets married at an early age and has seven children which he can’t handle, has problems dealing with people in his own family and eventually runs off to America or the Middle East where he can at least earn good money in peace. He feel secure for the next 15 years and then is kicked out of the Middle East. Goes back to his homeland only to see his old parents, evil brothers and hostile relatives ready to taunt him to death. Who’s to blame? The Matrix. The high profile buisnessman swings on his leather chair with ecstasy on one occasion, and on the other he’s seen behind bars, completing his 7 year sentence just because he did something illegal... JUST for something illegal! What’s the reason? The Matrix. What is all this... this is what life appears to you now... this is what is considered the norm, the apparently never ending program that propagates from generation to generation, from mind to mind until it has so firmly rooted itself that getting rid of it is out of the question. And that is why the Matrix does not tell you who you are, it only tells you what you mean to it... nothing more than that. Those who have truly broken free from the matrix are considered rebels, ascetics, hermits and freaks who are bombarded with comments like ’Get a life’ when the ones who really need a life is the rest of the human race.
You wake up early in the morning, walk out to get that newspaper lying on your driveway, every time thinking that there would be something interesting to read. What is in the newspaper? Stories of how the Matrix is functioning so well by killing another 13 Palestianians, telling how the Matrix is becoming perfect everyday by the killing and rape of innocent Kashmiris, telling how grand the Prime Ministers look in their brand new sherwanis, their pot bellies and their bullet proof indestructable limo’s. You read that with interested while reclining on your favorite couch, with a top news network showing Breaking News after another embassy has been blown up by the miscreants. You enjoy that, and you think it’s a good way to start a good morning. You are helpless... why? Because of the Matrix! You want to do something, you have the potential to help and to work for the benefit of the innocent, to bring everyone above the poverty line and to give women their due rights, you even talk about it during discussions... but sadly you’re never able to implement your ideas. Greed for power and for money is so firmly established in your psyche thanks to the Matrix that your negative actions never seem to reflect your ideas and personality. You complain about corruption, of bribery and ill management in Government institutions when you yourself are doing the same the very next day. Why can’t you break out of it? Because you depend on the Matrix, and if you did break out of it somehow, the Matrix would tear you to shreds.
The Intellegentsia and Pseudo-Intelligentsia is just another product of the Matrix, a necessity to keep the intelligent beings satisfied with their inflammatory statements against the working of the Matrix... but they can do nothing more than that. They sit around tables to discuss issues like Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and the rest, but because of the control of the Matrix over their minds they are not able to reach a practicable solution. The stronger components of the Matrix know what they are, and they control the rest through their power, be it evil or be it good. The world complains of their inane acts all around the world but they remain unabated. The walk around trampling the weaker ones, telling them that they’re out to save the world, when the only thing they’re doing is making the Matrix stronger and stronger.
There are some people who are not agents though. The want to or have broken free from the Matrix. Some of them are bad, some of them are good.
Osama Bin Laden. Wanted dead or alive for severe acts of terrorism. He broke free from the Matrix sometime ago, but not in a very good fashion. The Matrix is hunting him down. He’ll have a really bad end, just like Saddam Hussein. Even if he surrenders the Matrix would not treat him kindly. Osama Bin Laden is an evil rebel of an evil Matrix, and that leaves him no where.
On the other hand, there are people who have more sense. People who know the meaning of life and are more open minded. They are not intellectuals, politicians, leaders, army cheifs or presidents. They are ordinary human beings. They are people like Mother Teresa and Abdul Sattar Edhi. They broke free from the Matrix, and the only thing that could have or can stop them is death. No matter what the Matrix did, they kept preaching the message of peace for all. They dedicated their lives for the benefit of others, to see smiles on other faces than their own. If the Matrix tries to stop these people it would suffer.
The only thing that can destroy the Matrix is Love. The choice is yours. Be a wild Osama Bin Laden or a loving caring Mother Teresa. It’s a choice not between good and evil, but between Love and Greed.
Best of Luck.
