Circles the night decked with sorrows
Life, wafting in driblets, withers away, lamenting.
In the heart’s inner chambers,
Pain burns
Like saffron incinerating in the season’s mists.
Dormant memories of first love
Haunt
in later life with no verbal equivalents.
