Part I: As We Know (Not)

Life...is a story,

Which neither has a beginning,

Nor an end.

---It just happens...

Without our consent.

The twists,

The turns

And the expected surprises,

It unfolds in front of

Our very own eyes.

We see it but not,

Us ignorant blind,

We stumble, we fall.

The misery of it all.

Then finally we learn,

If we are lucky,

To solve this riddle.

But what do we find?

Good question!

And so it ends,

As it begins.

Part II: The Increasing Degrees of Ignorance

Is it, perhaps, that I can't understand? Or

May be is it that I don't understand?

The simple complexities,

The business of truth,

The voids of being,

Secrets that aren't,

Peaceful conflicts,

Rational insanity,

Chaos of order,

Relationships,

Emotions,

Mind,

Faith,

Us,

It,

I.



Part III: Do We Really Know What We Don't?

It is, perhaps, that I can't understand, or

May be it is that I don't understand,

What makes us human?

What drives us crazy?

What keeps us going?

Is it fear? And fear of suffering? Here, and after?

Is it love? And love for comfort? Now, and later?

May be its anger? Perhaps pain?

Hunger for power? Longing for fame?

Greed and lust? Self-interest?

Biology? Environment?

Friendship? Hate?

Belief in being always right?

Making mistakes? Blaming the fate?

Laws of gravity?

Weather? Geography?

Culture? Language? Religious convictions?

Black magic? Psychic predictions?

What makes our world go round and round?

From East to West? And upside down?

May be its something I wouldn't understand.

I shouldn't understand.
