He closes his eyes full of tears
And tries to remember those happy days with his peers
But Alas! His mind refuses to recall
And force him again to think of that fateful call
The call that undoubtly changed his life
And struck him dead even though he was alive
The call which demolished
all his dreams and desires
And spread in him depression as fast as forest fires
Soon he felt like committing suicide
Or slash himself with blades from side to side
The lights in his house failed to brighten his life
The darkness, the shadows pierced through him like knives
His eyes were blank! That’s all what he saw in the mirror
What he saw in his face was certainly not terror
It was sorrow he saw, he had indeed become glum
He couldn’t feel anything, he felt all numb
His sight got all blurry, and he knew it wasn’t the rain
It was tears in his eyes that caused him so much pain
He searched for something that could assist him to die
He pictured his family and he knew it was too late to say goodbye
Exhausted he was, he gasped for air
In rage, in pain he pulled out his hair
The pain refused to go, that all he could say
He needed help to die; he was even ready to pay
He had been betrayed indeed by the girl he loved
The girl he had trusted ever so much
Her beauty, her looks had made him her slave
She was to him like a ray of light in a cave
He had lied to his parents only for her
He had wasted so much money, Oh yes! On her
He had lost so much in vain
He had to die; he couldn’t resist any more pain
He neglected his studies and ignored his pals
He had wasted so much money on his trips with her to the malls
He had felt good, better then ever before
He thought he had everything, he didn’t need anything more
He had brought a wedding ring
He had planed to give it to her in today’s ball
But curse his bad luck
Why had he accepted her call
She didn’t take long
"This is the end" she said
He won’t ever be able to forget
The pain in his head
Now he saw no hope, no light
Darkness surrounded him and he felt so light
This is it, he was almost dead
He could see his lifeless body on his bed
So thus, his story ends
It is sad indeed!
One can learn so much from him
But no one pays any heed
Life isn’t all about love or any other relationship
It isn’t about success by following some dating tips
Be a successful man that is if you can
Or else you will end up like him in a cold night of Jan.
