Zachary played the guitar and smoked marijuana. He came from a broken family. The indefinite sadness in his eyes captivated my 16 year old heart and soul. I didn't even know his name until I graduated from high school. There is a tiny little picture of him in his track uniform in my yearbook. Sometimes I look at him and smile.
