Brand Worshipper

Brand Worshipper-PART I

I knew this moment would arrive. All of mankind, no matter what race or religion, has penned down their feelings for the one they worship. And after much thought I have come to the conclusion that it is time, that I too, reveal
to mankind the truth of one who has so far, been a silent preacher.

You have all been affected by its preaching and succumbed to its calling. Not a day passes when you don’t call out for it, talk about it, discuss it, and praise it. It stares at you from the corners of your room, your car, your office. Its image is plastered around you in all kinds of forms known to man. Its visual appeal moves you. Its words melt your heart and leave you spell bound. It has the power to wield your mind and make you act on impulse.

Yet, you deny its presence. You laugh at its efforts and call its attempts to lure you, feeble. You act as an icon of rebellion, scoffing at the authority it has on your fellow beings.

You are a fool.

You are a hypocrite.

Yet, you are too, a brand worshipper.

Brand Worshipper-PART II
The Prayer

Your passion is prayer.
Your money is a means to fulfill this passion.
Your fulfilled passion is a loyalty pledge.
And this pledge keeps it alive.

Brand Worshipper-PART III
The Brand Gods and Goddesses

They are the icons of success, fame, beauty and perfection. They dress in a manner that makes you stare angrily at your attire. Their world beckons you and you follow it like sheep, not realizing the perils that await you behind all the plastic glamour and glitz. You find their presence a necessity while they pollute you, your life, and your world until you become a slave.

You accept this slavery, and yet you deny it.

You are a fool.

You are a hypocrite.

Yet, you are, and will remain, a brand worshipper.
