The Passing and The Permanent

A few fleeing droplets of dew gaining velocity

met one morning petal's peak and emulsified

in ephemeral alliance at a drop's daring audacity

which withered with a ferocious fall and died

A bubble bound in some psychedelic soapy solution

stoutly soared through a pink plastic loop floating

for a few fortuitous feet of freedom & fruition

'fore encountering the inevitable inglorious ending

A solitary star to unshackle eons of accordance

galled its galaxy and morphed into a mighty nova blaze

bellowed in barren blue but a brief booming instance

yet to be forgotten and fade 'hind history's harsh haze

A feeling flirts fleetingly and an impetuous impulse fails

Love however fosters forever, abides endures & prevails
