I love Vancouver, Canada...lovely place. I was there for part of a summer a long time ago and saw just how much it rained. :)

Eswar:
Beautiful pictures. I like the way you’ve captured time, the clouds rolling in, the stillness/movement of the water etc.
If you take up sac’s suggestion, and capture more colors it would be a great treat!!

To really see the colors of automn you should visit Vancouver, Canada. The entire BC province is stunning in autumn. Even though it has been a drier year than normal--Vancouver still gets a lot of rain. The reds, yellows and browns combine these days in outrageous exorbitant fashion. All ye nature lovers unite and move to Vancouver.

While I will be the first to admit that things could have been better only if weather had smiled on us, since atleast two and may be three of the pictures have some fall foliage captured on them , the title can probably stay . Regarding foliage , some websites suggest that leaves have fallen in Northern New Engalnd and that near peak conditions are to be found in SE PA . I may just give it a shot if I manage to sneak some time this weekend. Thank you for the tip may be Litchfield and Berkshires are a good bet in SOuthern New England.

I like both photograph #3 and #4...the best part of autumn for me is watching the leaves change color...I’m in the Pacific Northwest, and just walked by a tree whose leaves are all red...it’s lovely. Rainfall does make a huge difference.

re ERaman #3:
I am in CT and the colors are absolutely gorgeous right now. VT and NH are the best of course. My point was that if you put Autumn colors in the heading, then show em some color or just say Scenes from New England. Otherwise one feels a little short changed. How about one more try this weekend?

Sorry to disappoint you. These are from locations in New England. The colors have not been very evocative this year , andthe meteorologists blame the lack of rainfall for it. The Village square in NH does have bright red colors.
Mt. Snow is a popular ski resort in Vermont. Stubble lighthouse is still part of the Southern Maine coast , the last I heard of it.
I presume that you are from NJ. If you are from NJ , how did the colors pan out this year?

Dude:
There is no fall color in any of the photographs except maybe the 3rd one. Are you sure you didn’t take the pictures in New Jersey in September?
