Shaheed-e-Azam's birth centenary

Posted: Oct 1, 2007 Mon 02:29 pm     Views: 3714    Interacts: 3

I never knew the birth date of Com.Bhagat Singh but knew his death anniversary as AISF use to have big celebrations on that day every year in my hometown.

Recently, I saw a news item and photograph of Bhagat Singh's centenary in Lahore, which is very pleasant.

Com. Bhagat Singh's vision was not just the end of British rule but also that of poverty and ignorance. He's ahead of his times for his farsight. Some people live after their deaths. He's one of them.

Except the B&W picture, the rest are in sequence as appeared on Net newspaper of Times of India on 01.10.2007.
