It is 10:58 pm on the US east coast. Isabel is coming and scaring us all. We hope she will not be too angry, and will allow us to keep our hats - and our roofs - intact.
Isabel is of course this level 2 hurricane. The TV announcer from the Weather Channel who was on site at the North Carolina beach called her Hurricane Isadore. Not once, but twice, before he realized his mistake. That is how scared he was.
