the other day a friend asked me if i was religious. i said well i’m no ninja but i do pray regularly. and he said ’oh so ur one of those religious fundamentalists?" and i was like ’huh??’ since when does fulfilling the very basic requirements of ur faith, without which ur not even considered a muslim mind you, deem u a religious fanatic? the future seems bleak when most of the younger generation is either so disillusioned with thier faith that they abandon it altogether or they run off to bomb the west mumbling ’haram haram!’ under thier breath all the way. *sigh* it’s heart wrenching when people so openly criticize the faith i completely give in to. me thinks if i want to make some convincing arguments i better brush up my knowledge on Islam and say something useful instead of declaring ’because!’ and letting lose a string of curse words which isn’t very becoming of a muslim.
