states of a (seemingly) ’human’ and autumn leaves other...

And what else. Yes. Life. Life these days is like a balancing-on-a-rope act with a burden on one shoulder. Bent on the other side, trying to balance it off and back starts aching. All that you have to do is to try to focus on the narrow strand that you are stepping upon and sing something that keeps your mind on track. A second of lapse and you go directly down into that unending spiral of screw ups. Yes. Screw-ups are like spirals- never ending. Once you’re on your way, you slip and slip and end up down right at the bottom till you find yourself nailed. Reality becomes too slippery to either handle or to do anything about it.

Anyhow. I have been thinking for the past two days now. People are like autumn leaves. Look both beautiful and sulking. But see where they are found. On the ground. Beneath the feet. They’re not visible individually. Only in hordes. And they’re dismissed. They don’t have a voice. Yes, voice. These fallen leaves don’t have a voice. They don’t speak, they howl. Yes, when stepped upon. Otherwise they’re not audible. Or probably their voice is not important to be audible. And yes, they don’t belong. They are kicked by something as feckless as the morning breeze. No. They don’t have power. No voice, no power, no visibility no audibility. Why are they there? Probably to make ’others’ visible, audible, powerful. And of course, there are those that are audible and are visible and powerful. No seriously. How does all this work together? I think you have to see them individually. As distorted, deformed, tainted, decayed. And then love them for it. Try touching them gently. (Not to tell them that world is a better place, oh no.. please no..) And yes, understand. understand. understand what has diseased them. Autumn never ends here.
But empathy, probably is the dream of a spring. And a dream worth being wasted for.
