200 chefs vs Nihari/siri payee

Posted: Apr 16, 2005 Sat 06:04 pm     Views: 65

So after refusing to salute ABV, after having a few thousand Pak Army soldiers killed in Kargil almost taking Pakistan to the brink of a totally unnecessary war, and after leaving the dead-bodies of martyrs behind, the General is having food cooked by 200 chefs in India

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/msid-1079 769,curpg-1.cms

and strutting around in different mazars and dargahs with dark pink turban tied to his head.

What a shame for the army whose blood only boils when civilians try to bring some sanity & normalcy to Indo-Pak relationship.

An army like this will never ever let Pakistan prosper. An army that hanged Bhutto (who saved 90,000 POWs from further agony in Indian jails) & banished NS (who literally saved them from getting further massacred at Kargil- And if you don’t belive me on this, just talk to any reasonable fauji and he’ll tell you what really happened in Kargil).

The day Army leaves power in Pakistan (i.e. after Musharraf becomes Zia’s neighbour near a certain mosque in Islamabad), will be the day when this army will start conspiring against peace moves again (even the ones that their erstwhile chief would have set up). That’ll be the day when all of a sudden there’ll be gun-fire along the LOC, there’ll be Kargil-like macho, good for nothing plans put into practice without any consideration for the well-being of the country, and there’ll be propaganda in Urdu newspapers as to how dumb, goofy, corrupt and a total moron the new incoming civilian is, and of course how he loves hareesa, nihari or siri payee.

All because the new incoming COAS would want his share of the food cooked by 200 chefs and would want to strut around in pink colored clothes in front of the world media.
