It was a wonerful test match. And I think English victory will go a long way in reviving cricket in England. The sport was fast ebbing away, being replaced by football and rugby. But it will change now.
I think there is one who is responsible for this remarkable improvement in English cricket. That is Flintoff. He has helped the goras change their style of cricket. They are no longer playing same old boring, defensive cricket. They are more passionate about their game. They are agressive in their approach. Following Flintoff’s approach a new breed of players like Pieterson and Geriant Jones is emerging. Whats more the cricket matches involving Aussies are no more predictable.
the onus is now ECB to tap this newborn passion for cricket and use it to build a better team for the next decade.
