I wish she had not accompanied me on that trip. Not that I did not like her coming with me. I was in fact looking forward to the day. But whatever happened there in Isloo has left a deep, burning scar on my heart. Why we human are show so msuh ineptness in developing and nurturing enduring realtions. I think our foibles and our complexes impinge heavily upon on our relations.
I dont know who said that we learn from our relationships with women. Do we? Well, I certainly have learnt a lot. It has been like taking a crash course conflict resolution and women psychology. There have been moments of sheer joy. Inside and outside bedroom. But we have had more than fair share of anguish and conflict. the only saving grace is that after every conflict, we have made peace. Sometimes I fear that the only motive for the reconciliation is the carnal desire. The need to embrace each other and have some fun. But if this is the case, it is very dangerous. this drive will not be around for ever.
