As per satellite estimates, over 200,000 building structures have been destroyed. Even if one person died per building, the death figure is over 200,000. Wounded and displaced could be many times over. 70% of the area is still inaccessible. Helicopters could not operate today due to bad weather. In some areas, temperatures have already fallen below freezing. People are dying due to lack of proper medical care and lack of evacuations. They need emergency medical aid and nutrition immediately.
Today, four truckloads of water left for Muzaffrabad and Bagh. Tonight another four would leave for Balakot.
Early tomorrow, I leave for Bagh.
