Jane Eyre

Posted: Oct 20, 2005 Thu 03:24 am     Views: 36

nostalgia is so related to winters, to me. wonder, where is the winter this year but the months are already that of winters. Few days back, I completed the summary of ’cather in the rye’ online. I had read 50 to 60 % of the novel before but then the book got misplace. anyway, the summary was okay too. it let me know of the end, atleast.

This also let me taste the taste of reading again. So I searched for ’JANE EYRE’ that I had studied a lesson of it in that guided english book, at school. I have read 6 chapters of it already. I take the prints first and then sit in a chair near the window with feet in another; relaxed . Though there use to be no work yet I have to stay back if office. In the begining of ramazan, I had plans to get a Quran-e-Kareem from somewhere and would do tilawat in that time. Somehow, I couldn’t manage that.

It use to be a lovely scene outside. The chowk use to be pretty busy in that hour. Everyone rushing to their respective homes, for iftaari. While going through this 19th century novel, the saamnay, adnrews church adds much to imagination. Though, I have already developed a specific map reagarding things in it right at school and would never ever want them get change. That was in 7th class perhaps and that very year was my first year at boarding school too.

I am inspired by HELEN BURNS thoughts, so for though they are not that easy to adopt. more like easier said than done. anyway ...
have plans to go for OLIVER TWIST next...
