I may sound like a broken record, but I can’t help restating this..
If there are Indians out there who have not cared to read, or read carefully Professor Ishtiaq Ahmed (Daily Times publishes his ’Comment’ now and then), then I would suggest that you do.
He is a true social scholar, a person striving for truth in our human societies - something that cannot be said about too many other readers and writers of books. Whenever he has written something contrary to my own opinions, I have always learnt something useful...a new fact, a new perspective...found a new way to grow.
