Mohammad Ali, Pakistani film actor

I liked Mohamad Ali, because of his values. How many marriages in the show biz last till death do them part? In this regard, Mohammad Ali and Zeba have set a standard for all Pakistani show biz couples to follow.

I remember watching few of his movies (almost always in Pekhawar or Nowkhar, Mardan had no theaters of standard) when I was a child. I liked his acting, although I liked Waheed Murad and Asif Khan more.

The films that I remember are Nauker (with Zeba and Babra Shareef), the tragic phool mairay gulshan ka (with Zeba and Wahid), the star studded gulshan gulshan phool khilay (with Zeba, Shabnam, Babra, Nadeem and Waheed Murad) and Intekhab (with ???). I have some glimpses of these movies in my mind. The era is mid-late 70s.

Almost all the above movies were copied in India in 1990s.

But what I remember distinctly is that in Ali’s tragic scenes, it would be difficult to watch the movies in the company of my mother, aunts and older female cousins for there would be lot of weeping and blushed faces trying to control tears.
