Fanna ...

Posted: Jul 20, 2006 Thu 04:31 am     Views: 44

I love going to sleep after maghrib, feel sleepy right after asr but then I don’t want miss the evening walk as well as maghrib if I make to my place in time. Normally I am there with the maghrib ki a’zanain being ON. Although I have not been so lucky in this regard lately yet last night was one of them after quite sometime. I hit the sack after namaz and had a sound sleep till 11 PM. The loud music being played by the side roommate woke me up. Their ’day’ had just got start but I was also contented the sleep and was feeling real fresh.

The grounds are lush green these days due to the recent rains so I decided to go for a walk. The main cricket stadium is now reserved for the colony walaz only, till 12 bajjay. I don’t like the hockey cum football wala much due to the ordinary orange lights unlike the mercury ones in cricket stadium. Besides hockey stadium mein woh bhi nahi aateen. j/k otherwise I don’t care much now.

During the walk, I decided to check FANNA’s master print with Redline. Its invain to watch the incomplete 2 CDs walay movies when they are just released. The last of 5 copies was waiting there for me. Got that and came back to canteen & had mangoes in dinner. The bad news about them was yeh k mangoes mehngay ho gayay hay. Those I ate were meant for milkshakes only but since I am their khaas gaahak so ...

I copied the movie to hard drive and the mahool all set accordingly; lights off, volume adjusted ... I prefer watching movies alone because I like to watch them from A-Z including the songs. I had heard/read millay jullay comments about FANNA. I personally liked it very much; thought provoking subject. Felt good to know that the indians at least know about the UN resolutions regarding referendum. They want it to be conducted in both parts of Kashmir. Let me mention this ’funny’ thing I came to know few days back that in pakistan-occupied kashmir, the candidates with the idea that it should stay as a separate state and not be linked to either India or Pakistan, were not allowed to participate in the elections. wonder what does that mean? I am of the opinion to just live them the way they wish to.

anyway, the movie was over around 4 a.m. neend still nada’rad, had breakfast after fajR. I had then only 3.5 hrs left to go to aafis so before going to bed I texted one of my colleagues to manage ’accordingly’ if I get late. Indeed a very good time I had last night. I still have enough to sort out (mentally) regarding subject.
