Watching movies is one of my favourite past times. However, since the arrival of little Ms. D seven months back, I have watched only 2 films. They being Omkara and Gangster. Since little Ms. D is very young at the moment, Mrs. D would not tolerate anything that will disturb little Ms. D in anyway. And not watching movies at home or away was on the top of her list.

Since they went to Rajasthan yesterday, I decided to revive some of my past times like reading, movies, playing music etc once again. So I started by watching ’Khosla Ka Ghosla’ last night.

A brillantly made film, it potrays how the land mafia operates in Delhi hand in glove with the govt depts. Performances in the movie were very good, especially Boman Irani who despite being a Bombay born and bred Parsee potrays the character of a pukka Delhi Punjabi to perfection. The smoothness with which he potrays the character is commendable.

Other commendable performances come in from Ranvir Shenoy as Bunty, Vinay Pathak as Asif Iqbal, Rajendra Sethi as the estate agent, Navin Nishcol as Bapu and Parvin Dabas as Chiraunjilal Khosla. Overall a complete entertainer with clean dialogues and a bit of the corny humour that is associated with Delhi. Worth watching of someone has not seen it.

rgds,

devkant.
