You need to do what you think is correct. I am no one to advise you on that.

You have been going all over the place as the crusader of minorities in Pakistan. Your ilogs is filled with examples about how according to you Pakistan is a secular country. And your wife’s ilogs is full of articles of how India is not a good country and how we kill our minorities, girl child, dalits etc etc. You guys have been very selective when it comes to pointing fingers at India. Apart from the stuff that you guys post (to which completely agree), I have never seen even 1 article about anything that is good in India. And believe me, there are a lot of things in India that are much better than Pakistan and many other places on this planet.

Babri Masjid was a disaster. I didn’t do anything at that time simply because I was too young to understand the depth of the issue. Today this issue is almost dead to most of the Indians, including muslims. Except for some selfish interests, no one is raking up that issue publicly in India. Also numerous PIL’s have been filed in Indian courts against the demolition and construction of the temple, which are currently under hearing.

The fact that you have been so vocal about how well minorities are treated in Pakistan made me wonder if you did do anything against that builder that had the temple demolished in your own backyard on the basis of false documentation as the newspaper article alleges.

Personally I don’t care if temples, mosques and churches are destroyed for development. Development is essential for any city, especially Indian cities like Bombay where the population is growing by the day thanks to immigrants. There have been numerous so called religious structures been destroyed, but all on the basis of correct documentation, which in many cases were ordered by the courts.

In many cases courts struck down demolition orders too for certain religious structures which occupy prime land in Bombay. You have to see to believe the kind of prime land that is being occupied by some churches and mosques in Bombay. But no one dare try to demolish these structures.

I really don’t care what you guys do in Pakistan. Its your country and your hassel, just like India is ours. But what I simply don’t like from the bottom of my heart is when you behave as though compared to India, nothing is wrong in Pakistan. As a famous saying goes ’People living in glass homes do not throw stones at other’s homes’.

The last time you left our discussion on Indian democracy half way and didn’t respond. Lets see you do better this time.
