It is not confusing at all.

Chowk alliances are shifting; no doubt about that. But it is rarely that an interactor as filthy as Salim Chauhan comes along.

Our fault as interactors was that we did not recognize evil when we saw it. The Atifs and assorted Pakistanis of the world went along with Salim Chauhan when he went after Sadna and assorted Indians. They enjoyed his wit then.

The Indians on Chowk did the same thing when Salim Chauhan started abusing Atif and other assorted Pakistanis. Yeah, we thought he was a "reasonable" guy, quickly forgetting how he had abused those we may appreciate at other times.

Then there were people like me who pretty much ingnored this dude in his fights with others and enjoyed his wit at other times. Gave it back when required, but ignored his sexual innuendo for the most part because "it wasn’t my business".

That was the biggest mistake I made. I am reminded of Martin Niemoller’s poem...

"First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out--
because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out--
because I was not a socialist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out--
because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out--
because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me--
and there was no one left to speak out for me. "

Salim Chauhan did not come after me..I admit that I am instigating this verbal abuse against him. That is because I could not sit back and take his vile abuse against Chowk women anymore...

God knows I have had my share of fights with Scout...She is not someone I have ever met. Unlike scumbags like RSAXENA (who actually have met scout and today kiss Salim Chauhan’s ass) I have no personal stake in this. But, I have decided that enuff is enuff, evil must be fought.

So, there is no confusion.We all continue to mess with each other as Indians and Pakistanis...Atif spouts against Chaltahai and vice versa.

The only interactor not given any benefit of comradeship / common nationality / religion and is considered pariah by all is Salim Chauhan.
