The one thing that pisses everyone across the board is a muslimah feminist.
The pukka mullahs don't like her, for like Amina Wadud, she tries to lead friday prayers, and like Mohja Kahf, she wears a hijab and writes raunchy sexual stories.
The butchy butchy feminists don't like her because the hijabi feminist does not burn down the male inspired house of worship. They don't like her because she wears a hijab!!
[okay, hijab is a tricky issue I admit. But I needed to illustrate a point]
The muslim feminist, with or without hijab, is an articulate, educated, compassionate and resonable woman of the modern world who can navigate traditional, religious, and modern landscapes with ease.
The muslim feminist may yet tear down both the feminazi and the mullah based walls.
