Good bye my friend
His wife left him, leaving behind a daughter perhaps 10 years old. He worked hard and long hours, an immigrant, who made sure his daughter went to the finest schools in the country. God knows what magic he did, but he raised a daughter who was the most gracious in manner, had an everready smile, and excelled in her studies. His eyes would light up when he saw her, and she never let him down.
He passed away after a short illness this week, leaving his daughter to go on from here by herself. A few short months before she was to graduate from college.
Life can be more cruel than any human being.
