Obituary - Let us remember her for who she was, and nothing more.

The loss of human life is always sad. It is indeed a very sad day for what happened.

That said, the impression I have been getting from many articles all around and many ilogs here is that she is a martyr, she was some noble being, etc. Let us not forget what she really was and what she did over the years with Pakistan. Let us please not turn her into a martyr who stood and fought for freedom and died fighting for it - because she didn't.

Let us remember her for what she was. She didn't stand for the people of Pakistan, she didn't fight against dictatorship. All she stood for was power, personal gains and money. She manipulated and fed upon the poor people of Pakistan. So does pretty much every politician of our country. But she did it way better than everyone else. All she wanted was power, power and power - a third term for herself.

She had blood on her hands too. Remember Karachi? Once again, while the death of any human being is very sad - I don't feel any sympathy for her. I do feel very sorry for what is happening in Pakistan, and all the others who died, and their families. For her, I believe that in some way justice is finally served. May Musharraf and co. be brought to justice as well, soon. Amen.
