move on...

Posted: Jan 4, 2008 Fri 08:54 pm     Views: 326    Interacts: 1

i come back to a barren home.

they have stripped down my collage, my photographs, my posters, my wall hangings...

now, they all woefully lie in a heap, in a corner of the half-room.

the snowfall has been plastered in. there are cement marks all over the walls. the windows are stained and the floor a gruffy grey. sunita grumbles and curses under her breath all the while trying in vain to wipe away the marks..

this was for the night i came in.

and when i wake up in the morning, they have cut down three huge gulmohar trees... hundreds of birds are circling around, perplexed by the loss of thier habitat.. suddenly the landscape seems barren too...

and they were very old trees.

they cut it down probably to create more space for marbling up the temple in front... and create more racket out of it.

and then the final sign...

my money plant is dying.

time to move on. away from these dumb people who cut down trees and kill every other living being in sight to create more and more space for themselves...

and so, the hunt for a living space that can be co-shared with ants, bugs, birds, squirrels... is on.

again.
