Ever heard of Privacy?

Posted: Jan 10, 2008 Thu 11:59 pm     Views: 296    Interacts: 3

Ever since the crowning of BBZ or Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as the new Chairmen of the PPP following his mothers tragic death, several rumors are circulating around the net. Not a day goes by without me receiving yet another email with pictures of Bilawal in various forms of drunkenness and overall good spirits.

Obviously most of these pictures are not correct as anyone with half a brain and graphics software today can alter pics, replaces faces etc etc.

The fact which amuses me though is the nations fascination with someone private life. True he is the new political face of the Bhutto dynasty, but he is also a 19 yr old teenager who lets face it belongs to a class which has enough abundance of wealth and status to just have fun whenever they want to.

Does that mean he is to be criticized with abandon for his personal life? lets be clear on this, his personal life has absolutely nothing to do with his political one so what is the bloody point here?

We need to learn that a persons religious and moral choices do not necessarily depict how good a job they can do in their respective fields. We also need to realize that even though its facinating and funny we are all indulging in a massive invasion of his privacy.

So let him do whatever the hell he wants to in his own time. i would like to judge him based on his actual performance in politics.

It seems we are not going to learn about privacy and private life in next hundred years.

Although Zulfiqar Bhutto was the greatest leader in the history of Pakistan but he was abandoned by this nation when Zia ul Haq played the card of religion and proved that ZAB is "morally" corrupt. Bhutto's speech in Multan was used against him where he said, 'main sharaab peeta hoon to kiya hua? bohut kaam karta hoon iss qaum ke liye, thak jaata hoon, thori si pi leta hoon, magar apnay paisay se peeta hain, 'unki' tarah qaum ke jaib se halway nahi khata..".

That was used as the last nail in the coffin to prove that he is not fit enough to lead the nation. Mard e Momin, Mard e Haq came to rescue Muslims and sow extremism and drugs which have become Pakistani identity today.

We as a nation are far off-track. Unless state is separated from religion we can't come on track.

umm we do not know if he will ever be our leader sarah. He has 5 yrs to go even before he can be elected to the national assembly. That is if he is ever elected.

If we wish to define our moral boundaries perhaps we should ask ourselves.. why is it that alcohol and whores are available all over Pakistan at a phone call. We can decide whether we vote him in or not..if there is ever a fair election, but we aren't the moral police of high heaven!

Currently he is a nobody.

yes it does not matter when that some one is nobody. But it matters when the person is going to be future leader of 2 million Muslims.
does abundance of wealth should be reason for getting drunk and whoring around?
us impeached their president on moral misconduct.
a nation who can not define its moral boundaries can never justify their legal system.
thats why we get corrupt leaders and then son of corrupt leaders.
