Something worth to share with Chowkies!

Last month I went to my home town Karachi for a short vacation. I found my good old diary in which I used to jot down any good poetry, excerpts from article or nice paragraphs from any fictional novel I come across. This poetry is in Punjabi which was sent to me by one of my Punjabi friend who used to send translations also knowing that I don't know Punjabi. But this poetry is quite easy to understand. It's by 'Javed Randhawa'.

"Allah Mian Thalle aa
apdnee dunya waikhda jaa,
Ya aasmanoan rizq wara,
ya phir ker ja mukmaka,
Allah Mian thalle aa.

Jae teinoon dhee wiyanee paindee,
Russeee bhein mananee paindee
Naankeeshak bananee paindee
Ludh jaande sub teire chah
Allah Mian thalle aa

Teira maa te pio na hoanda,
gher wich aata gheoan na hoanda
Jo tu chanda woh na hoanda
deikhda wikhdee keire bhaa
Allah Mian thalle aa

Jaawerda tu sabzee mundee
aarhtee milde sare pudendee
toal deinde teinoon maar ke dundee
waich deinde teinoan saste bhaa
Allah Mian thalle aaaa.........
