Redemption

Ask me my friends of words,
As I create this flutter
See them in action, those birds
Never they fall, never they stutter

Don’t kill the effect and its essence
Murder it is for the muse
Imagine the impact and its menace
Rise like those rainbows in its cruise

Depart these words of prose and rhyme
Brutality of mind and its characters
As we walk towards the end of time
Broken chords of nights in tatters

As they prepare to surrender their function
The old characters, in black and white
No claims I possess for perfection
Only dispossession of words in sight

As I drink these droplets of addiction
As I revise these concepts of motion
Of words and its creation
Follows me this guillotine in silence
Voices I hear from my characters
Options you still have for redemption!
