Man ki aankhein khol, baba, man ki aankhein khol...

Dear Chowk staff:

Been a while. Surely you remember me...I am not here to say helloji, however.

I looked at the front page today, since I have been out.

Disappointed. Not a word from you about the Jaipur blasts. Jaipur is in Rajasthan. Rajasthan is in India. India is Pakistan's neighbour. We are in South Asia. Chowk says it is a website about such issues that concern S. Asia and more specifically the two countries.

One has noticed that even some newbies have been talking about it as a Pakistani site. Kindly confirm if things have changed. Until then it shall remain a South Asian website. And India is a part of it.

There are several Indians who spend considerable time here either bashing up Pakistan or adopting Pakistanis as mothers, aunts, sisters, daughters; one of them could have penned an article, whatever be her/his perspective.

If no one was doing so, you could have put in a small report; this has always been done. That is the very least one would have expected.

As I said, am disappointed, even angry.

And for those who have said that Indian Muslims must be made to feel like full citizens, I would like to assure them that WE do; it is another matter that those IMs who do not have the privileges that some of us do are not treated as full citizens, unless one counts being arrested on trumped-up charges as a means of 'inclusiveness'...you know that 'apnapan' stuff...

Life goes on...and on...and some die...
