"Main, Asha..."
a 30-min play woven around the issue of sex selection, followed by a post-performance discussion. the play is a group effort in exploring and demonstrating the strength of participatory theatre as an effective tool to provoke dialogue, discussion and debate on issues and concerns.
the performing group consists of young people from various socio-eco backgrounds. since the last two months, the group has been involved in workshops, research, scripting and designing the performance. at present the group is performing the play in various spaces in and around mumbai and thane.
