And then a gloomy cloud
halted and dissolved
into an ocean of tears.
Relieved after pouring
its fears, it flew with
the wings of merry birds
holding avenues of bliss
in their sights.
Roaming the skies
it was oblivious to
the sighs of unresting
waters below.
Enhaling air, its
chest turned heavy
with melancholy,
and it could think about
none, but pouring it again.
The cloud is a merchant,
trading pain with pain.

Lot of rain here
Lot of drops
Cyclic pain
and words won't stop
Your poem is crafty and beautiful. Wonderful metaphor!

Aadil, good piece! Clouds inspire people like little else! Clouds have no fixed shape – so one can imagine whatever one wants in them. They have many shades – just like our mood has many shades. And they are eternal so they are always there when we need them. They can soak us and yet they can not be caught – they can be all around yet they are not a part of us. And they can not be owned by anybody but they are there for everybody!

The cloud is a merchant,
trading pain with pain.
I agree with goonga that is a fantastic line and concept.
We really need some clouds to pour. It's hot here.

@goonga .... its personification; to metaphorically describe unliving things as living
There nothing vague behind the concept but just another way of looking at the process when a cloud is formed and dissolved in connection withthe waters below. I've tried to give it a melanchlic touch.
And of course, human is part of a larger whole ... lollls...
let's see which way the wind blows in the next session ...hah..
Thanx for liking the phrase you've mentioned!

wew... loved this trading pain with pain
btw:
And then a gloomy cloud
halted and dissolved
into an ocean of tears.
if you say that, again, that you write for the love for nature then does not you are using human symbolization for description of nature and then you affirm that using it again in
Within no time, its
chest was heavy
with melancholy,
I know you would say that human is also part of nature but again just wondering what would happen in next reading session!
