TO BRIBE OR NOT TO BRIBE......

NEW DELHI: Railway Minister Lalu Prasad termed the allegation of offering money to three BJP MPs as a "drama" staged by the saffron party when they were about to be "exposed for offering money" to RJD's Pappu Yadav.

"It is drama," Lalu told reporters soon after three BJP MPs alleged that they were offered Rs three crore each for abstaining from voting during the confidence motion.

The RJD chief claimed that the BJP came out with "this drama" as they were about to be "exposed for offering money to our MP Pappu Yadav".

Lalu alleged that a senior BJP leader met Yadav in Tihar jail and offered him (Yadav) Rs seven crore for voting against the government.

"These (allegations of offering money to BJP MPs) were all false and planted by the opposition parties. Narco-tests should be conducted on the three BJP MPs who levelled the allegations. They should be arrested," he said.

He also said that the trust vote should continue.
