Adam Khan...don't miss this!

Adam Khan, Remember I told you that the Pak army’s game plan of putting the tribes against these criminals Taliban would hurt the tribes more. The Taliban are criminals and would just butcher these poor folks in FATA. The Pak army for the last fifty years has only taken money from the poor Pakistanis and when it is time to fight these criminals, the army is putting these poor tribes as shield against the Taliban.

The tribes should ask the army to come forward and take the losses. It is the army’s jobs to fight the Taliban.

“Death toll in Orakzai blast climbs to 55 Updated at: 1205 PST, Saturday, October 11, 2008 PESHAWAR: The death toll in Orakzai jirga suicide blast mounted to 55 Saturday, with several others still in critical condition.

According to sources, death toll in yesterday's suicide attack in Orakzi Agency during jirga has increased to 55, while scores are still in critical condition.”

Why poor Orakzai? Haven’t they taken enough losses already?

that the US would let Pakistan dictate the cold war...

The US wants to entrench the Taliban in that area, that is the reason behind its methodology and I would not be surprised were its hand behind this "blast". Pakistan and its army does not call the shots, the US has been ever since its interest in the proxy cold war it fought, in which the ONLY role of Pakistan was that of a whore for the US, and not the major causation factor- they would dare not confront the Soviets were it not for US support and they opportunity they saw, and now in the GWOT, where America will not let Pakistan call the shots even when this BS threatens to break up the country.

Those who place independent causation in the hands of Pakistan and its military have no clue about anything, history, politics or whatever. It is extreme naivety to think that the US will led Pakistan dictate the cold war (in the case of the Afghan/Soviet war) or the GWOT (in the case of the Taliban). No they have their own agenda and they do their own thing, they only USE and ABUSE you.

Those with a CIA training will not let you realize this.

Have a nice day and take it easy,

TNI Masadi

HP:

In this case, I see the Taliban as an aggressor much like the British or the Sikhs. The reaction of this would be immense, and I think it is actions such as these that are proving to be the undoing of the Taliban.

One point to note is that the Taliban dont have a tribe on their side, all 18 tribes in Dara Adam Khel have announced unanimous support for the Lashkar, all in all these Taliban are a hardcore bunch of renegades that can only be dealt with by force.

The other thing is that the Taliban removed these particular tribal jirgas to ascend to power, so far the Taliban excuse has been to play the tribal card, by becoming the voice of the tribal and claiming the death of neutrals as evidence that the government is crushing the tribals. With these lashkars they loose that excuse and with that, an effective recruitment slogan. Which chokes a major source of their long term survival. So the tribals taking them on, is only a reclaiming of their old power structures. the state never was in control in that area.

The civil war argument is not valid in the sense that this is not one tribe against another, but the tribes vs intruders....

It is a war and people will die on both sides... if we let them have their way... many more people will die... this tumor has to be taken out and the army (for the very first time) seems serious about it.
