Pakistan is in this state today because we have forgotten our basis and ideology. Neither the government nor the Pakistani people are following Islam in the right manner.Who told you that true Islamic laws are implemented in Pakistan? As far as US 9/11 attacks are concerned please upgrade yourself!!!If for you logic and reasoning are that important then explain to me where were all the security and armed forces of the BIGGEST POWER BLOCK of the world when some planes out of nowhere entered their territory? Do you think it is that easy to enter America and destroy the biggest building of the world!?!? Do you have any proof of the authenticity of those videos in which Osama accepted and many others released on monthly basis? Our arguments are on divergent plane,you taking scriptures as your base,whereas for me logic and reasoning are very important.I am an engineer working in a unique Islamic country having lot many temples (no use to me any way)and churches.It also has world,s top quality liquor(alcohol) available at reasonable rates.(important point for me)
You have concluded that Bush is my hero.I have no hero ,no god,no religion .Only sense of what is right and wrong and good analytical ability are my assets.I do not depend or worship or idolize anyone.Now you are making an issue of innocents dying in war.Now in India naxalites are there who are terrorists(not religious,in fact they belong to hindu ,islam or Christianity but as naxalites they are religionless).Naxalites stay in jungles but not with wives and children.They are totally cutoff from their families(father ,mother,brother,sister or wife) Naxalites have fixed and defined targets like police,politician etc but still they are terrorists as they attack in surprise.They do not target innocents(like bomb blasting in market)If they try to contact or visit their family they get caught,But Taliban are not like that .They live with number of wives and children(even use their children for attacks or suicide mission).It is Bin Laden who picked up war and not Bush,Bush had to retaliate and safeguard security of his nation because he is president of USA (Bil Laden is a nobody).Now when enemies are terrorists it is not possible for organized armies using hitech weapons to identify innocents.Case in point is recently marriage pandal(in Afghanistan) was attacked by US missiles killing 40 people, mostly innocents but 3 were terrorists.US indentifies terrorists by mobile phone conversations and physical movements thru satellite.When a terrorists is identified and known to be at a particular place they have to attack(irrespective of collateral damage that may result)They could not have surrounded the marriage pandal to pick up 3 terrorists because ground movement is dangerous for Americans,Same story is valid for all drone attacks now going on in FATA.If you ask who is responsible for loss of innocents ,I will say certainly NOT BUSH but ISLAM(as terrorists are not separated from society in an Islamic country)

International court can not act suo-motto.They settle dispute between nations (that too both disputing nations jointly refer the matter to international court and agree to abide by the judgement)Court does not have its own enforcement setup (like army or police) I thought you are educated enough to know this about international court.

Few years ago heads of some 50 islamic state met at kuala lampur and deliberated on the question(what is terrorism??) for 3 days and could not come to any conclusion.Likewise several meetings of muslim scholars in Egypt and other parts of world spent lot of time together and could not conclude.As I told you before islam makes people mentally blind.If you ask any 10 year old schoolboy from other religion (or the boy may not have any religion) he can enlighten you on the matter.First and foremost sign of terrorism is surprise ie terrorist always attacks his perceived enemy by surprise.Now consider what Bush did.He gave notice to Afghanistan of at least 3months before attacking .Had Taliban handed over Bin Laden he might not have attacked as that was his main demand.He gave more than three months, notice to Saddam Hussain and also a chance to surrender or quit Iraq. When none worked he attacked.Even when Saddam was arrested from his hide out Bush handed over him to Iraqi judiciary for trial.Now if a man who killed 6000 shia muslims should not be put on trial then who should? Thus Bush did the job of Allah!!!Allah could not have punished Saddam for the mass murders be’ there is no such God,In facts all Gods are imaginery created by humanbeings (and not vice versa)Saddam continued in power despite mass murders because Islam condones every thing done by its leader.
Now see what Bin Laden did, All his men (20 men) entered USA as students/visitors. Half of them held Suadi stolen or purchased passports(At that time Suadi had easy entry in USA, they were the most trusted by USA).They did not give any warning to anybody.Just went about hijacking and crashing aircrafts in to world trade centre killing more than 4000 office workers.Had Bin Laden given any warning to USA about his intentions USA could have taken precautions and Bin Laden could not have accomplished his plan.,But that is what is terrorism,terrorist always strikes by surprise.If you can not distinguish between WAR (What Bush did was WAR) and TERROR (that is what Bin Laden did) then you can not distinguish between marriage and prostitution.
Now if you see the unmanned drone attacks US is launching against terrorists in FATA,these attacks have surprise element.Attacks are 90% accurate but are killing women and children also.If the terrorists reside with 10 wives and 100 children what US can do??? Description of earth given in Quran may be just about right(not 100%)but given in Bible is 100% wrong. If a tourist visits a new place he first comes in contact with taxi drivers,hotel staff and shopkeepers etc.Also he is either impressed or disgusted by roads,traffic jams,pettythieves,robbers,beggars and so on. You can not convince him telling that all people are good and honest in this town, only taxidrivers/hotelstaff and shopkeepers are dishonest.Same is the case with islam.Terrorism,honourkillings, treachery and deception are generally seen as linked with islam even though you may say that majority are very good.
You have written that in US 2713 rape cases take place but does not appear in news?From where you got this exact figure??.Further you say that BBC and CNN are not reliable.If not for them such figures would not have come out.My intention is not to question the veracity of figure given by you.US is the country with most honest and competent judiciary,police and civil service.If a woman is raped in US she has 100% chance of getting her rapist convicted where as it is 0% in Pakistan.Becuase of Islamic laws police countercharge (a woman who complains of rape,) with adultery and put her behind bars. After going to jail she will again be raped by Islamic police .Besides it is not possible for any one to produce witness (one male or four female) as required under islam.These laws assume that rapist gives prior information to woman before rape (so that woman can arrange for witnesses) whereas rape is a surprise activity just like terrorism. All the Islamic countries have poor judiciary but it is glaring in case of Pakistan as it was formerly ruled by British when fair judicial,civil,and police systems existed.Today legitimate Chief justice of Pakistan (Iftikar Choudhury)is on streets for justice.He will not get justice unless Pakistan quits Islam or he quits Pakistan.Finally can I ask you a personal question?What is your qualification and if employed what is your profession?

DOES ISLAM PROMOTE VIOLENCE?

Doesn’t Islam promote violence, bloodshed and brutality since the Qur’an says that Muslims should kill the kuffar where ever they find them?
Answer:
A few selected verses from the Qur’an are often misquoted to perpetuate the myth that Islam promotes violence, and exhorts its followers to kill those outside the pale of Islam.
1. Verse from Surah Taubah
The following verse from Surah Taubah is very often quoted by critics of Islam, to show that Islam promotes violence, bloodshed and brutality:
"Kill the mushriqeen (pagans, polytheists, kuffar) where ever you find them."
[Al-Qur’an 9:5]
2. Context of verse is during battlefield
Critics of Islam actually quote this verse out of context. In order to understand the context, we need to read from verse 1 of this surah. It says that there was a peace treaty between the Muslims and the Mushriqs (pagans) of Makkah. This treaty was violated by the Mushriqs of Makkah. A period of four months was given to the Mushriqs of Makkah to make amends. Otherwise war would be declared against them. Verse 5 of Surah Taubah says:
"But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is oft-forgiving, Most merciful."
[Al-Qur’an 9:5]
This verse is quoted during a battle.
3. Example of war between America and Vietnam
We know that America was once at war with Vietnam. Suppose the President of America or the General of the American Army told the American soldiers during the war: "Wherever you find the Vietnamese, kill them". Today if I say that the American President said, "Wherever you find Vietnamese, kill them" without giving the context, I will make him sound like a butcher. But if I quote him in context, that he said it during a war, it will sound very logical, as he was trying to boost the morale of the American soldiers during the war.
4. Verse 9:5 quoted to boost morale of Muslims during battle
Similarly in Surah Taubah chapter 9 verse 5 the Qur’an says, "Kill the Mushriqs where ever you find them", during a battle to boost the morale of the Muslim soldiers. What the Qur’an is telling Muslim soldiers is, don’t be afraid during battle; wherever you find the enemies kill them.
5. Shourie jumps from verse 5 to verse 7
Arun Shourie is one of the staunchest critics of Islam in India. He quotes the same verse, Surah Taubah chapter 9 verse 5 in his book ‘The World of Fatwahs’, on page 572. After quoting verse 5 he jumps to verse 7 of Surah Taubah. Any sensible person will realise that he has skipped verse 6.
6. Surah Taubah chapter 9 verse 6 gives the answer
Surah Taubah chapter 9 verse 6 gives the answer to the allegation that Islam promotes violence, brutality and bloodshed. It says:
"If one amongst the pagans ask thee for asylum,grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of Allah; and then escort him to where he can be secure that is because they are men without knowledge."
[Al-Qur’an 9:6]
The Qur’an not only says that a Mushriq seeking asylum during the battle should be granted refuge, but also that he should be escorted to a secure place. In the present international scenario, even a kind, peace-loving army General, during a battle, may let the enemy soldiers go free, if they want peace. But which army General will ever tell his soldiers, that if the enemy soldiers want peace during a battle, don’t just let them go free, but also escort them to a place of security?
This is exactly what Allah (swt) says in the Glorious Qur’an to promote peace in the world.

1) Islam today is the most misunderstood religion. It bears the brunt of misconceptions and hate propaganda.People, who have misconceptions about Islam, usually direct similar questions which you have put forward. In conveying the message of Islam to a non-Muslim, it is usually not sufficient to highlight only the positive nature of Islam. Most non-Muslims are not convinced about the truth of Islam because there are a few questions about Islam at the back of their minds that remain unanswered.
Non Muslims may agree with your contentions about the positive nature of Islam. But, in the same breath, they will say - "Ah! But you are the same Muslims who marry more than one woman. You are the same people who subjugate women by keeping them behind the veil. You are fundamentalists; you do not have patience etc." I will try to remove all the allegations Inshallah , however I cannot change one’s nature. I can only do Jihad (by the way Jihad means to struggle and strive) in the way of One Lord. As far as observing patience is concerned, As you can see How patient I’ve been.
2) You said: I can not give you any verse from Quran but if there is nothing in Quran which promote these actions of Taliban then why are they claiming it as pure form of Islam??
Ans: This is what you should ask them not Me. I challenged you to produce even a single verse of Quran which speaks against Humanity on the whole. You failed. Why are Taliban claiming such things, I advice you to ask them not me Brother. Since the Quran which I follow doesn’t preach such activities. If I go committing illegal acts and say Bible orders me to do this or Quran orders me to do this or Mahabharata orders me to do this, it would be devilish on my part to claim such false things. As far as Maulana Fazllur Rehman is concerned, I again request you to ask him about his deeds. Not me. I am not friends with Taliban neither do I justify them. But if someone says “Islam teaches me to commit falsehood� I can prove him wrong right on the spot, logically. How? Through the Quran itself. Your commnets give rise to questions such as If Islam is the best religion, why are many of the Muslims dishonest, unreliable, and involved in activities such as cheating, bribing, dealing in drugs, etc.?
Islam is without doubt the best religion but the media is in the hands of the westerners who are afraid of Islam. The media is continuously broadcasting and printing information against Islam. They either provide misinformation about Islam, misquote Islam or project a point out of proportion, if any.
When any bomb blasts take place anywhere, the first people to be accused without proof are invariably the Muslims. This appears as headlines in the news. Later, when they find that non-Muslims were responsible, it appears as an insignificant news’ item.
If a 50 year old Muslim marries a 15 year old girl after taking her permission, it appears on the front page but when a 50 year old non-Muslim rapes a 6 year old girl, it may appear in the news in the inside pages as ‘Newsbriefs’. Everyday in America on an average 2,713 cases of rape take place but it doesn’t appear in the news, since it has become a way of life for the Americans. I am aware that there are some Muslims who are dishonest, unreliable, who cheat, etc. but the media projects this as though only Muslims are involved in such activities. There are black sheep in every community. I know Muslims who are alcoholics and who can drink most of the non-Muslims under the table. Inspite of all the black sheep in the Muslim community, Muslims taken on the whole, yet form the best community in the world. We are the biggest community of tee-totallers as a whole, i.e. those who don’t imbibe alcohol. Collectively, we are a community which gives the maximum charity in the world. There is not a single person in the world who can even show a candle to the Muslims where modesty is concerned; where sobriety is concerned; where human values and ethics are concerned.
Here is an example by a Famous scholar, If you want to judge how good is the latest model of the "Mercedes" car and a person who does not know how to drive sits at the steering wheel and bangs up the car, who will you blame? The car or the driver? But naturally, the driver. To analyze how good the car is, a person should not look at the driver but see the ability and features of the car. How fast is it, what is its average fuel consumption, what are the safety measures, etc. Even if I agree for the sake of argument that the Muslims are bad, we can’t judge Islam by its followers? If you want to judge how good Islam is then judge it according to its authentic sources, i.e. the Glorious Qur’an and the Sahih Hadith.
If you practically want to check how good a car is put an expert driver behind the steering wheel. Similarly the best and the most exemplary follower of Islam by whom you can check how good Islam is, is the last and final messenger of God, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Besides Muslims, there are several honest and unbiased non-Muslim historians who have acclaimed that prophet Muhammad was the best human being. According to Michael H. Hart who wrote the book, ‘The Hundred Most Influential Men in History’, the topmost position, i.e. the number one position goes to the beloved prophet of Islam, Muhammad (pbuh). There are several such examples of non-Muslims paying great tributes to the prophet, like Thomas Carlyle, La-Martine, etc.
3) As per Bible earth is flat but scientists like Copernicus,Galelio said and proved otherwise(that earth is round).They were sentenced to death by Vatican 500 years ago for defying Bible.but recently Pope withdrew allegations against them and also withdrew charges. Such magnanimity does not exist in followers of Islam.
Ans. If pope withdrew allegations against them then it is because Pope did not have any other choice except to admit truth. Whoever says earth is flat is obviously wrong. Pope showed this high-mindedness means he indirectly admitted the error in Bible. However, there is no such error in Quran then where does the question of modification come? Moreover, to enhance your knowledge: The Qur’an mentions the actual shape of the earth in the following verse:
"And we have made the earth egg shaped".
[Al-Qur’an 79:30]
The Arabic word Dahaha means egg shaped. It also means an expanse. Dahaha is derived from Duhiya which specifically refers to the egg of an ostrich which is geospherical in shape, exactly like the shape of the earth.
Thus the Qur’an and modern established science are in perfect harmony.
As far as your opinion that such magnanimity doesn’t exist in followers of Islam, You are again wrong. Whoever stands up and creates mischief in the land in the name of Islam. Islam directly throws him out of the religion. Quran as well as Sahih Hadith has mentioned it several times, whoever creates mischief in the land Is not from us. “Whoever kills a man (unless it be for murder or creating mischief in the land) it is as though he has killed the whole of Humanity.� (Al Quran). Now tell me, where does Quran support honor killing or those people who commit illegal activities? Every living being is given a chance every morning, to right the wrong of yesterday. Pope was also given a chance to be magnanimous. If today my friend slaps another without any reason, I would correct him immediately. Where does Islam say do not be noble?
4) In all, The Prophet pbuh married fifteen women, but he died with nine in his marriage. Wisdom in Plurality of wives: The wives that the Prophet pbuh left behind him served as teachers and jurists to men and women of this Ummah, especially in matters pertaining to affairs of women as well as Islamic rules, laws, etiquette and Prophetic affairs in reference to family life.Apart from that, they were models of Piety and righteous living as the Prophet pbuh was a model in the way he dealt with his wives. It was a requirement of the mission he was entrusted with that he should have several wives since it would have been difficult for a single wife to learn and teach all the rules of family life that he had brought. And since the wisdom in plurality of wives could be exploited by others of the Prophet’s followers for sexual reasons alone, Allah prohibited it for anyone else, declaring it a specialty of the Prophet pbuh allowing others no more than four wives at a time.
5) The Prophet pbuh did not marry any virgin other than ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her), it proves his sincerity
6) Hazrat AYESHA sidiqa (radi Allahu 'anha) the first scholar woman in Islam. After the death of Prophet Muhammad there must be someone who is very close to the prophet to stay for the next generation, teaching the next generation. This woman alone has recorded almost 25% of his words and teaching. She was more as a student than a wife, imagine someone lives with the prophet, understand him while she is being kid, that woman will grow with alot of knowledge of Islam.

First, the marriage was not consummated until she reached puberty:
Al Bukhari narrated (hadeeth 3683): He married Aishah (radi Allahu 'anha) when she was six years old, and consummated the marriage when she was nine.
Also narrated in Al Mustadrak, 6715/2313 and multitude of other hadeeth compilations.
(Note: THIS IS THE AGE OF PUBERTY OF MANY GIRLS IN THAT CLIMATE.)
7) HAZRAT MUHAMMAD (peace be upon him) wanted to marry 'Aa'ishah (radi Allahu 'anha) so that she would be more able than others to transmit reports of what he did and said. In fact, as stated above, she was a reference point for the Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with them) with regard to their affairs and rulings.
8) By marrying with HAZRAT MUHAMMAD (peace be upon him) she became mother of all Muslims. It is the greatest honor 4 a lady in this world.
PROVE OF HER HAPPINESS IS THAT SHE REMEMBRED MOST OF HAZRAT MUHAMMAD (peace be upon him)’s HADISH (SAYINGS OF PROPHET).
9) Impartial Non-Muslims about Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)’s marriage Scholars such as “Watt� and “Esposito� hold that some of the marriages were based on the Arabian custom and aimed at strengthening political ties, while those marriages with widows were aimed at providing a livelihood to them.
10) Regarding your opinion on How America is struggling to eradicate Terrorism from the world. Brother, kindly review the whole scenario through an open mind and not through BBC or CNN. Even the American people have come out on the streets protesting and realized that war with Iraq was an error on Bush’s behalf. If you ask me who is the biggest terrorist?! I would reply, George Bush.

They kill infidels /behead criminals/cut hands and maim thieves/closedown girls school/force women to wear hijab /do not allow them to work ouside home—are they doing all these in the name of Bible??When Taliban were ruling Afghanistan Suadi and Pakistan were the only two countries who had recognized it. What wrong Have I said about Mohmed??Did not he marry 13 timesw?Did not he marry Aisha (9years) when he was 65?? Was not most of his life spent in wars?? Some European countries consider him first terrorist on earth and depict it thru cartoons.

you seem to be well versed in hindu sriptures.I being a brahman, have not read any sriptures nor do I wish to read.I am not an exception but most hindus are like me.I do not believe that reading sriptures can enhance one's analytical abilities. What important point you have missed in hinduism is it is permissible not to believe or not to worship any god,to which category I presently belong. such freedom is not there in Islam.
Regarding caste system in hindus though it is justified in scriptures,now a days nobody justifies it and efforts are made to reduce the gap by giving reservations to disadvantaged sections in education and jobs. In fact such a system exists among muslims and christians as most of them are ex-hindus.And so in some states reservation is given to lower caste muslims and christians .Hindu scripture do permit taking more than one wife but today it is illegal.Though brahmins are superiormost class of hindus they were never rulers.Nowadays you will rarely find a brahmin top rated politician.
Hitler did not kill jews out of religious hatred. He had other reasons to kill as jews were prominent in all walks of life ,more educated and would not support dictatorship.Does anybody justify burning down christians?? Even the most rightwing party BJP publicly denounced that.

I appreciate logic over nonsense. His book is based on contemporary events, written simply to create mischief in the land. It is Scriptures who deserve to be referred than Salman Rushdie’s handwritten book. As I mentioned Earlier, if you want to judge Islam, go back to the main sources. Review Quran and Sahih Hadith of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. I challenge you; there is not a single verse of Quran or any Hadith which goes against Humanity on the whole. Dont look at Muslims to judge Islam. A person who is creates mischief in the land is not a Muslim. Because a Muslim is a person who submits his will to One Allah. As far as being divided into religion is concerned, Allah prohibits the division of Muslims. Prophet Muhammad prohibited it so as Quran. It is Muslims, who later, divided themselves. Not to forget cast system in Hinduism. The religion philosophy divided people into four castes: Brahamans: the priestly class, Kshatriyas: the soldier class, Vaisyas: the trader and farmer class and Sudras: the lower class that serves the upper three castes. The last mentioned class is considered unclean. Its members were not to intermingle with others and were kept apart to the extent that they were not to know the holy literature (Manu shastra).The brahamans occupied the topmost position. Destruction of other people’s life and property was lawful to them. Is it justified religion?

BHAGAVAD GITA

I request you to read Salman Rushdie’s Satanic Verses (though book is banned in India ,one can manage a copy).I for one do not find any difference in ordinary muslims disowning terrorists or terrorists owning all muslims.That is because ‘deciet’’ “treachery� and “vengefulness� are hallmark qualities of all Muslims.Recently Mr Zardari showed these qualities by disowning signed promises to Nawaz Sharief. You must try to understand what other religions preach.
Sriptures:India is home to four religions hindu,sikh,jain and budhism.All have their own sriptures but their followers never quote these in any of their public or political dealings.Hindu sriptures in fact are not recommended for everyone to read,certain level enlightenment is expected before anyone is asked to read these whereas in Islam many Ghazi Baba�s are there who try to enforce their own interpretation of scriptures.Budhist scriptures exort followers to think,discuss and act and do not recommend any particular solution to social maladies like theft/adultery etc.Chrisctians deleted influence of Bible and church in their public and private life almost 500 years ago. Life of prtogonists/prophets : Jesus died young and asked his crucifiers to be forgiven .Budha was a born king but sacrificed everything in search of truth (not God).Life of sikh gurus was also noble and charitable.There is no one single prophet in hindus.where as Mohmed lived life full of treachery, deceit and vengefulness.His marrying 13 women and one at age of 65 to a nine year old can at least be termed as immoral.
