Just thoughts

There comes a time in a person’s life when all that he/she has experienced and seen needs to be penned down. Each day in its passing teaches something new and each experience enriches our lives for the better. Each ache and each sorrow enriches one’s life and completes the cycle of existence, since joy without sorrow is incomplete much like day without night is meaningless. I am so fortunate to be alive and to be blessed with a thoughtful heart. For truly a life without a conscience is like a body without a heart.
Here I come to the same point of importance that restates itself in all of my writings, the matter of the heart. ‘Strange are the matters of the heart indeed.’
Everything under the sun will perish save the Divine presence and save the goodness of the hearts. All else is but dust;

“Every one upon it (earth) will perish. And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honour” (Ar-Rahman 26-27)

From dust to gold is our journey, a constant search for the divine path, for seekers of truth this journey is in actuality the journey of the tormented soul in search for the station of complete harmony and peace within one’s self and with his/her Creator. Hence from a tormented soul to a pacified soul is the journey a man makes in this lifetime and this journey signifies the essence of his/her existence. His life’s worth is measured by the steps he takes to improve his cardinal nature to an angelic one. Man is by nature a tormented soul,but his outreach is toward the stars and beyond. No conscientious human can live and not contemplate upon his existence. God in his mercy is infinite and there is never room for despair. Hence carry on one and all your striving in the way of God and never for once despair, because despair negates the whole philosophy of existence.

“ life is conscious awareness of the heart; it means naught to the dead of heart’

Each of us has the ability to turn our face toward the sun, how much of that light are we capable of soaking into our bodies is dependent on our ability to absorb those rays, same is the case of absorbing divine light and guidance. To each his/her own according to their striving and capacity. But to strive consciously is what we as humans in search of higher stations of awareness must attempt to do. Awareness of self leads to awareness of God, from the inside to the outside.
I write against the backdrop of the present Muslim socio-political stagnation. My emphasis is on the youth of today with whom rests the future of our Ummah. Now is the time to rise above our differences and forge ahead. Now is the time to dissolve our disputes and unite. United we rise, divided we fall into an abyss of nothingness.
All Mohammadan’s (SAWW) are one nation, let us cast aside our petty hatreds and let us rise to the occasion. In- tune our hearts to the teaching of Mohammadan(SAWW) beliefs and strive toward a better future.
