The Americans and Pakistans media is rejoicing the death of Baitullah Mehsud.
As I analyse his death will make no difference.
No amount of military action in FATA will make any change.
Pakistan needs to stop doing tactical garbage collecting and dog catching for USA or its very existence may be at threat.
The precedent that he set of challenging successfully the Pakistani state is more dangerous.
In a nut shell he represented an idea ,far larger than his mortal self and his removal will not improve the US or Pakistani military position.
The solution to the problem lies in reviewing Pakistans slavish foreign policy.
The threat to Pakistan by doing what USA tells its hopeless leaders to do is far greater than the threat from the Taliban.
