Two observations about iPhone
1. in this ramadan, during the nightly taravih prayers (hindoos and mirzaees, this is the prayer in which muslims finish reciting quran within the duration of ramadan) i have noticed many muslim brothers carrying iphones as the imam recites the quran. they are basically following imam's recitation on their iPhone application called iQuran, with the added benefit of reading its translation along with it. Subhanallah! May allah reward Jobs bhai in the hereafter.
2. yesterday here is how i used my iPhone - I checked my emails and facebook, read articles on several news articles during traffic stops or idle times, checked weather and stocks, listened to music, NPR and Pandora, used google map, checked Flixster application for latest art films, wrote or responded to several text messages. And oh yeah, I made some calls too. Which brings me to the punch line - why are we still calling it a "phone" when most of what I use it for is stuff other than calls?

You should worry about your own clan instead of obsessing over Ahmadis.
Here's a little exercise to illustrate the point: Tonight, after the traveeh, ask the imam what is the Islamic punishement for apostasy, adultery, and blasphemy.
Hint: Don't tell the imam what the Quran says; just ask him the question. When he has answered, only THEN tell him what Quran actaully says. Very likely you'll find your own imam negating the Quran. I guess this is what passes for Islam nowadays. Takbeer!
BTW, ramazan mubarak!
