Nine Eleven and The world after

Posted: Sep 29, 2009 Tue 04:01 am     Views: 129    Interacts: 0

THE NINE-ELEVEN AND THE WORLD AFTER.
It is 8 years ago that the invincible power of the world was hit on this day. Though the rest of the world were suffering in silence for decades but all the human and democratic values were put on the ice.
Palestinians were suffering, but the sacred cow Israel annoyance could not be ignored.
Southwest Asia was comparatively peaceful; except three conventional wars between India and Pakistan. None of them were fought for the sake of self-determination of kashmiries but to divert the attention of the public from their internal problems, faced by the then governments? I am sorry to use such a blanket statement but it was the fact; particularly in the case of Pakistan. Logically it was not holding ground, a country refusing recognition to the smaller nations in its own boundaries and hold such a high moral grounds to go to a war to get the right of self-determination for another nation. Later on when I left Pakistan in 1972 and came over to England I found that I was right in my assessment after meeting with educated kashmiries.
Nine eleven was condemnable like any other terrorist action. When such a big incidence happens, it is always preceded by events. If ignored will ultimately lead to a bigger incident. It is unfortunate that the powers that really matter in world’s politics fail to ponder over those events or ignore it all togather to further their national geo-political interests. There were many “ground zero” created by America in the world but they were never given any importance. Might is always right. People in command tend to forget,” what you sow, so shall you reap,”?
I honestly believe that it was US made monster which hit the invincible right on its face to make a mark and shatter the concept of invincibility as it happened to Israel in Ramadan war.
This monster was created by America and United Kingdom to stab U.S.S.R. in the soft belly to take the revenge of Vietnam. The question which needs to be answered; when they were so near to the jugular in the then west Germany, why they opted for the soft belly. The reason were quite obvious that in Europe it would have cost them American lives while here they knew the fuel is easily and cheaply available poor Afghans. They can be consumed as fuels till last afghan, far away from their own boarders. They have put different price tags on human blood.
Secondly, a local time tested ally was available at very cheap price. That was the most allied ally of the U.S. imperialism is the armed forces of Pakistan according to The Daily Guardian of Britain.
Apart from being a trust worthy ally, Pakistan had its own interest to settle its score with Afghanistan and to bring them to their knees to accept Durand line as a national border. Pakistan military regimen badly needed recognition. In addition to these two factors Pakistan needed America firepower for its armed forces and to boost the dwindling economy. Pakistan had other nefarious intentions as well. To enumerate few; to train the terrorist and its own agencies to keep the Kashmir issue boiling and to actively support in cash and kind the Khalistan movement in Indian Punjab and insurgency in Assam.
But the most nefarious of all was the intention of Pakistan to capture Afghanistan to increase the strategic depth and to shift its nuclear facilities to Afghanistan far from Indians reach. The mastermind behind this philosophy was Gen Akhtar Abdur Rehman. In case this mission fails the second option was to install a puppet government in Kabul, like the one in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. The success of khalistan was so much on the nerves of late Zia that he himself wanted to command the Sikhs insurgency but was stopped by Gen. Gul Hassan, who was the chief of general staff, for the fear if he is captured in the fight. (Ref. Memoirs of Gen. Gul Hassan) It would have been horrendous international embarrassment for Pakistan. So the stage was sit, on the basis of you scratch my back and I will scratch yours. The Islamic bomb was uncared for. Mrs. Thatcher and Regan were in action.
Pakistan introduced the religious fundamentalist concept to the area. Fanaticism was introduced in the army and secret agencies. Other interested local parties like Saudi Arabia and gulf states were taken on board to establish a Sectarian state in Afghanistan. Afghan soil was used as a terrorist training academy to train terrorist and export as well. Saudi citizens and other Arab terrorist were imported. Initially Americans insisted for Saudi prince according to Dr. Tariq Ali but later on they agreed on Osama bin laden. Prince Turky bin Abdul Aziz was the over all in charge. Mrs Thatcher kept on visiting the guerrilla front line; who were fighting the infidel. She forgot the famous English proverb that if you marry a guerrilla for the sake of money, when the money finishes the guerrilla would remain guerrilla.
Now the terrorist in action are the continuation of that Talibanization of the Afghan belt on both sides of Durand Line with the tacit support of Pakistan I.S.I. and Saudi Arabia. With the passage of time the other criminals of other nations were also included as the sphere of I.S.I. activity expanded to Chechnya, China and Philippine. Cash and kinds were flowing in to Pakistan and inflated economy gave Pakistan a prosperous look. Apart from American arsenals, Pakistan invested heavily in manufacturing their own arsenal industries. I.S.I. Working in collaboration with C.I.A acquired new dimensions in its professional activities. Late Wali khan repeated its stand in public meetings and to Pakistani rulers that remember you are providing all these devastating weapons to destroy and destabilize Afghanistan but the same weapon can be used against Islam Abad and advised me to start a periodical to convey our voice to the out side world and so “The scream” was started from England. But deaf ears were turned to our screams.
Millions were killed and thousands were made disabled leaving behind an army of orphans, widows and helpless parents. The sectarian organization were fully involved in almost every area in Afghan Blood lit; whether it was Pakistan, India, Europe, U.S.A. and even China. To claim that Pakistan is itself a victim of terrorism was to cheat the world. It was Pakistan and Saudi Arabia who introduced and continued this drama. Pakistan was the first country in the region to start state terrorism in Afghan belt. It was not a war against terrorism but state terrorism against another state. Poverty, Illiteracy and backwardness of Afghans were fully exploited.
U.S. Strategist made another folly to attack Afghanistan and Iraq. The same forces highly charged with strong fanatic inclinations along with imported criminals turned against U.S.A.
After Nine Eleven another Military dictator in Pakistan was waiting for some miracle to happen and used it for its regimen recognition and to get support for the dwindling economy inherited from premier. Nawaz Sharif, who was overthrown by Musharaf in cowboy style coupe. America wanted to attack Taliban government of Afghanistan for providing asylum to Osama Bin Laden. A high level delegation of American met Late Wali Khan in England to let him know. Indirect contacts were made but to no avail. They had strong ties with Pakistani agencies and were sure that Pakistan will not ditch them so easily. But Musharaf was waiting for some one to call upon him to get legitimization of regimen and to acquire the front line state status with all perks attached with it. He gave a surprise to America state department to accept the offer without any precondition. It is a hum buck that he was saving Pakistan and its nuclear facilities. His only aim to prolong his illegal rule. He did not hesitate for a while to stab Taliban in their back and give a green signal to American. Afghanistan was on fire once again. The earth erupted like a volcano and the sky was on fire. Taliban also turned against Pakistan. The GHQ of Pakistani Taliban was right under the nose of Musharaf in Lal Masjid Islam Abad. There was extensive network of Madrassa all over Pakistan and FATA. The friendly opposition, MMA, was ruling Pukhtoonkhwa. They gave the Taliban a voice and logistic support. The religious hysteria was sky high. The terrorist using the name of Taliban and a section of Taliban started a target killing, decapitation, abduction and torture. The thing to ponder over that all these started when nationalists and democrats formed a coalition government in the centre and at provincial levels. The main targets were nationalists.
It is very strange that miles long tunnels were made in Swat, Dir and the rest of Malakand division and the latest weapons were being piled up but the governments at both levels were unaware. It is unbelievable. The elected members, government officials particularly police and innocent citizens were being killed but the sectarian religious leaders were not even touched. It stinks foul. The army GHQ, officers, airhead quarter I.S.I. personnel came under fire but not a single political clergy was harassed. It is a bit smelly. Isn’t it?
Pukhtoons (afghan) fought some one’s battle, which served the interest of a country where their recognition also needs a referendum. Isn’t it odd?
The guerrilla turned beasts, were no more bound by the rules and regulations of a marriage of convenience. The voices of right to the centre were going hoarse to stop military operation and start negotiation. We wish we could solve it by negotiation. But who was the other party? Can they tell us? Is there any hand shaking under the table?
Those who bought the war prosper at the cost of our blood bath. W If the local parties, who had stake in this game; could be pushed out of the arena then probably some success could be achieved.
Afghan belt on both sides is completely destroyed. The infra structure of Afghanistan, FATA, Swat, Dir, Shangla are completely broaken. Our existence is at stake. It was a conspiracy hatched by anti Pukhtoons elements, which failed to eliminate us politically in 62 years; were bent upon to eliminate us physically. The terrorism is the only profiteering industry for them and they are milking 3-4 cows at a time. Can we expect them to eliminate their cash crop? Complete Talibanization was done of our people. It is an imported word and so is the phenomenon. In our language we have “chanrey” word for it.
We must take a serious notice of Osama meetings with Nawaz Sharif before we are trapped again. The Talibanization was started by Zia and reached to its zenith in Musharaf days. Apart from other gross political crimes, they should be held responsible for crime against humanity. The American should be bluntly told if they are serious to solve the problems Pukhtoons belt need a master plan to be restored to its originality and this task should be carried out by UNO with the consultation of local elected leaders, Masharan and civil bodies and relevant local intellectuals. I am afraid if the donor countries do not take the charge of developments in their hands; this fund will meet the same fate that was given for eradication of opium.
The idea of barbed wire on Durand line is silliness. If Pakistan thinks to seal the borders they should be asked that Swat, Buner, Shangla had no border with another country, how come so much heavy and sophisticated weapons reached there Our motherland should not be considered occupied Palestine; unless there is under the table hand shaking going on between Pakistan & Israel.
I will take this opportunity to appeal to David Milliband and Mr. Holbrook to visit Peshawar and Quetta, to know the real facts. It is simply waste of time, to visit Raiwand or Karachi. It tantamount to ask the destroyer to construct or a butcher to stitch a wound.
We nationalists honestly feel that the Pakistani agencies have converted a small section of our people to be mobile bombs. We are also against all the foreign forces and ask them to quit our area but it should be applied to every one, and international guarantee should be attained from Pakistan for non-interference in Afghanistan.
It makes me laugh when I listen to Pakistani electronic media that the politicians and journalists are equally get disturbed by the Afpak word used by Obama; while on the other hand demanding the Americans to show equality between India and Pakistan.
