Tere Bin Nahi Lagda Dil Mera

Posted: Oct 12, 2009 Mon 04:09 pm     Views: 124

He was born on 13th October. I saw him many times sitting outside Data Derbar and singing Qawali with his elder brother and young Rahat Fateh Ali.

I don’t have to write his name, do I?

Dadda Abu loved his Qawalis and I used to enjoy those with him on every weekend while he peeled fruits for me.

Daddy played only his cassettes in the car. At that time, he was only producing traditional music.

Then suddenly he was known to the world due to his international music, which is part of my collection.

Often, I remember those days while listening to this.
