Off-path PSYCHOpath

Posted: Oct 14, 2009 Wed 12:00 am     Views: 397    Interacts: 17

Dear readers:

This is in addition to my blog: The Most Dangerous Man On Chowq

********************************

Read other ARTICLES and BLOGS by the author to find out why he is frequently banned on Chowq

********************************

A psychopath 'gives' you the information, even if it's bad, he gets to give it to you with his own spin on it. He can manipulate and sculpt reality to make him look innocent, get sympathy from you....

Some of them have 'subconscious leaking' when stuff they are concerned about starts leaking into the conversation. We call these 'Freudian slips' (instead of saying "I absolutely adore that" when you are thinking "abhor" you might slip and say "I absolutely abhor that!" revealing your real motive).

Sometimes when they are trying to cover their tracks and they are hyper-focused on putting their own spin on it, what they are talking about is what they are subconsciously dealing with. There must be some level of minimizing this information. But let's talk a minute about how boundaries play into this as well...

One of the sneakiest tricks that pathologicals often use in relationships is to 'test' your boundary levels. I have had pathologicals tell me that they 'choose' their relationships based on loose, weak, or inconsistent boundaries.

How they test that is they will do something very small as a boundary violation. It could be so small that it doesn't register with you (and that could be because unless it's a HUGE boundary violation you're not recognizing it). It could something as superficial as being 20 minutes late, forgetting his wallet, forgetting a date, or calling his ex by a foul name and you not confronting him.

They test to see what you react and respond to and what you don't. So if you don't confront boundary violations up front, it's a green light to a pathological. He'll test it further the next time and keep moving the bar higher to see just how 'limber' you are when it comes to tolerating his behavior.... these are all boundary violations that he tests in order to determine your 'workability' in his plan.

I wish to thank The Institute for Relational Harm Reduction & Public for posting this at:

Billy:

Never tell such crazy men that they are crazy. Leave the 'pyscho-baba of Kanda' to deal with them.

eleventyone,

you cannot kill my argument nor you have answer for it.

again let me put it in simple words for you,

walking tall with a, as you put it so beautifully (according to your deep senses),a bigot, is much much better than hugging & munching on meal with an athiest, born muslim, that is the ultimate height of hypocracy.

for the sake of arguemnt if we do say that tahir is crazy, well if you ARE that strong, why you go crazy? :)

Totally agree with eleventyone's idea

"In a way, Tahir's posts are nice because they really bring out the crazies among us, even the ones who look nice and tolerant to begin with!"

The gone cases first queued up to attack me abusively, now they have stooped to the depths of Hades to attack those who sympathise with me or my views; shame on all of them.

Some of my best friends and neighbours are apostates and so far, they are all alive and friendly with me!

There you go! Everyone asked why Tahir's supporters, apparently normal and tolerant people, kept going 'wah wah' at Tahir's bigoted posts. The answer is, they are equally as bigoted, they just put a nice veneer on their bigotry. According to bhs here, it's hypocritical to be friends with an apostate. The logical extension of bhs's views would result in the treatment of apostates as social pariahs and from that it's only a small jump to making apostasy a crime.

In a way, Tahir's posts are nice because they really bring out the crazies among us, even the ones who look nice and tolerant to begin with!

A certain 'woof woof' thinks I am deleting its posts; why must I when the Chowq Stuffed can do it better?

Thanks for your brave comments, Mariposa.

The word that defines those who are neither on this nor on the other side is ‘nowhere’.

Tahir Sahab, I agree with you. I always say to my friends (who have objected to some of your stands) that there are people who know enough to defend what they believe in. And the rest of us like to take refuge under the term “flexibility” and use it as an excuse to cover the lack of knowledge.(the right kind of knowledge mind you)
But then there are people who have taken liberalism (under the covers of science and education) to a whole new level I don’t understand why do people think that they have a middle ground? Either be here or there.

Mr Asadi, without your permission, of course!

Sohail writes "After that experience my aunt and uncle agreed with me that the psychiatric treatment was the cake and the spiritual practices the icing."

Sohail sahib, I think you should take some more time before you hit the submit button to send your articles. People spend valuable time reading what is published on the fp at times and they should not be disrespected in this manner by submitting an article that is half thought out and pieced together in juvenile fashion when I am sure you are capable of doing much better.

That said, my dear friend, you have discounted the 'soul' when your psychiatry cannot understand it and cannot understand the mind either. Instead of taking an agnostic position you take the atheistic and nonsensical one, which I expect from those that lack sophistication of thought. Nonetheless chemical dependency that shrinks have been pushing for ages to take care of problems created by a capitalist structure (they started with alcohol to 'domesticate' the native rebels), is not "cake", rather it is opium that doesn't cure a thing. The mass schzophrenia that the mass society in the US lives through their narrow lives of fun and substance abuse cannot be cured by Modecate.

You have a nice day,

TNITC masadi

tahirthegman, BHS is not like tahir and he is far mature. While i agree with your sentiments against Tahir, but my request is not to bracket him with tahir. He is a far better person

it's not about me going lunatic gman, you are going all guns out cause you hate tahir, that is between you and him.

you don't look like a fool to me, a sensible person can tell what he is reading, and what I wrote was after visiting dear dr.'s website.

there is a fine line between being flexible and totally losing it. you accept the company of people who keep a muslims name, were born muslim and became a proud athiest, that is hypocracy. what would you call it?

right BHS, just like the company you are keeping is making you a lunatic as well.....
Tari keep on deleting but I know one thing...
With no achievments in your entire life, an unattractive personality and a fragile ego, every truth which is being written about you hits hard....no matter even if you delete it like a rapid dog
Posted by bhs75 on Wednesday October 14, 2009 01:13 am
he hangs out with writers, story tellers & athiests, like I say, the company you keep can leave an impression on your personality & it comes out sooner or later.

A darwesh do know the difference between 'allah wala' and a no-name-hypocrate, but does he know?

Creative Psychotherapy Clinic :) creative indeed.

Billy, please elaborate on your findings.

One man, many hats. And it irritates those who can't even wear one hat!

Thanks.

PS: Can you understand what the spin-doctor is attempting to do here?
