When you’re not looking, everything is a pleasant surprise. The world seems in order. The universe is conspiring for you. The stars are aligned and you’re happy.
The sun shines that much brighter. The sky is just that extra blue and the wind blows in just the right direction. The way that makes your hair flow. Your stride is long; you’re head-buzzing with excitement.
Sometimes one has to go across the world to find what they had to begin with. The journey makes it that much extra special and the discovery is all the more exciting.

It helps to step aside and see. Really see. No bias. Just you and life as it is. No frills attached. The sight is breathtaking, and you wonder how you never noticed it before.
So much to be grateful for and so much to give back. I am excited about life and all that it entails.
